In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate.
Allah uses these verses of Surah Al Mulk as discussion for people to accept belief in Him. In the first five verses man has been made to realize that the universe in which he lives is a most well organized and fortified Kingdom in which he cannot detect any fault, any weakness or flaw, how ever hard he may try to probe. This Kingdom has been brought from nothing into existence by Allah Almighty Himself and All the powers of controlling, administering and ruling it are also entirely in Allah's hand and His power is infinite.
SubhanAllah; →Reflect on the wondrous creations He has made, and on yourself. He has said: In the earth are signs for those who have certainty, and in yourselves; can you not see? (51:20-21)
Besides, man has also been told that in this wise system he has not been created without a purpose, but he has been sent here for a test and in this test he can succeed only by his righteous deeds and conduct. May Allah give us victory and forgive us all. Ameen.
→Blessed is He in Whose Hand is the kingdom, and He is Able to do all things. The One Who has created death and life in order to test you and see which of you is best in deed, and He is the All-Mighty, the Oft-Forgiving.” (Surah al-Mulk 67:1-2)
•►Indeed, there are a multitude of blessings that you can attain by recitation as this Surah is a protection from the punishment of the grave.
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said ‘Surah al Mulk is the protector from the torment of the grave’ [Sahihul Jamiea 1/680, Hakim 2/498 & Nasai]
⇨Ibn Abbas (radiAllahu anhu) said that one of the Prophet (salallahu alayhiwasalam)’s companions set up his tent over a grave without realising that it was a grave and it contained a man who was reciting the Surah Tabarakallahi Biyadihil Mulk up to the end. He went and told the Prophet (salallahu alayhi wasalam) who said, ‘It is The Defender; it is The Protector which safeguards from Allah Ta’ala’s punishment’
[at-Tirmidhi]
⇨Ibn Abbas (radiAllahu anhu) also narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said, “It is a protector; a rescuer; saving from the chastisement of the grave.” (At-Tirmidhi and Al-Hakim.)
•►Indeed; this Surah intercedes for you in the grave as:-
⇨Abu Hurayrah (radiAllahu anhu) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said, “There is a Surah in the book of Allah it is but thirty passages which intercedes for a man on the day of judgement so that he taken out of the fire and entered into paradise; it is Surah the Blessed.” (Abu Dawud 1400, At-Tirmidhi 2891 and Ibn Majah 3876.)
⇨Anas (radiAllahu anhu) reported Rasulullah (sallallahu alaiyhi wasalam) as saying, “There is a Surah which will plead for its reciter till it causes him to enter paradise (Tabarakallahi Biyadihil Mulk).” [at-Tabrani]
