The Quran and the legacy of the Prophet (S) regarding forgiveness and mercy towards others is very clear:
>>>"Pardon them and overlook - Allah loves those who do good" [Quran 5:13].
>>>"Those who control their anger and are forgiving towards people; Allah loves the good" [Quran 3:134]
Remove any grudges you may have too:
>>>"The Day when there will not benefit [anyone] wealth or children, but only those who come to Allah with a sound heart" [Quran 26:88-89]
[Food for thought] Be of service, whether you make yourself available to a friend or co-worker, or you make time every month to do VOLUNTEER work, there is nothing that harvests more of a feeling of empowerment than being of service to someone in need - The highest of distinctions is SERVICE TO ALLAH BY HELPING OTHERS!
