“O you who have believed, indeed, intoxicants, gambling, [sacrificing on] stone alters [to other than Allah], and divining arrows are but defilement from the work of Satan, so avoid it that you may be successful.”

Smoking causes physical, intellectual and moral effects on human system and leads to lung cancer (self-destruction). Nicotine, the component in cigarette is a form of slow poison. It is also a wasteful expenditure.
Spend in the cause of Allah Swt. Invest in good deeds that benefit in the Hereafter.
