said
“ There are three things which destroy, three things which save, three expiations and three ranks .
1⃣ As for the three things which destroy,
Stinginess that is obeyed, (selfish) desires that are followed, a person being amazed and being proud of one's self.
2⃣ As for the three things which save,   being fair whether we are angry or pleased (happpy);  moderation/generosity in the times of poverty and prosperity ; fearing Allaah in private and in public;
3⃣ As for the three expiations, waiting ( getting ready) for the next salaah after the salaah, making complete ablutions with cold water, going on foot for attending congregational prayers.
4⃣ As for the three things which raise the ranks they are feeding the needy, spreading the salaam (greeting), and praying at night when the people are asleep. "
