Deeds which will bring someone to Paradise or Hell

عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَنْ أَكْثَرِ مَا يُدْخِلُ النَّاسَ الْجَنَّةَ فَقَالَ تَقْوَى اللَّهِ وَحُسْنُ الْخُلُقِ. وَسُئِلَ عَنْ أَكْثَرِ مَا يُدْخِلُ النَّاسَ النَّارَ فَقَالَ الْفَمُ وَالْفَرْ

Abu Hurairah narrated that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was asked about that for which people are admitted into Paradise the most, so he ﷺ said: “Taqwa (Fear) of Allah, and good character.” And he ﷺ was asked about that for which people are admitted into the Fire the most, and he ﷺ said: “The mouth and the private parts.”

حضرت ابو ہریرہ سے روایت ہے کہ ایک دفعہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے پوچھا گیا کہ کون سی چیز لوگوں کو جنت میں لے جائے گی۔ آپ نے فرمایا: وہ دو چیزیں ہیں خوف الٰہی اور حسن اخلاق۔ پھر آپ سے پوچھا گیا کہ سب سے زیادہ کون سی چیز لوگوں کو جہنم میں لے جائے گی؟ تو آپ نے فرمایا : وہ دو چیزیں ہیں زبان اور شرمگاہ۔
